Harvard Book Store was founded in 1932 and is a staple of the Cambridge community.  Harvard Book Store has always been very active in the community and in bookselling—holding active roles on American Booksellers Association committees and boards, and in the New England Independent Booksellers Association.

1369 Coffee House opened in Cambridge's Inman Square in 1993 and, not long after in 1994, they opened their second location in Central Square.  From the beginning, they envisioned more than just a place to get the very best coffee & tea they wanted to create a comfortable, inviting atmosphere and to be an integral part of the community.  They have succeeded! 

Veggie Planet serves inventive and healthy meat-free pizzas and meals on rice in the heart of Harvard Square. Also made on premises are salads, soups, and desserts.
