Harvard Book Store was founded in 1932 and is a staple of the Cambridge community. Harvard Book Store has always been very active in the community and in bookselling—holding active roles on American Booksellers Association committees and boards, and in the New England Independent Booksellers Association.

Work with Harvard Real Estate to install wind turbine/solar panel on roof

Increase use of recycled materials for any supplies needed
Utilize paper at least twice in printing in offices and make own notepads out of scrap paper
Create Green Team and add language in job descriptions about sustainability practices
