Irving House
Irving House is a 44 room guesthouse two blocks from Harvard Yard. The house has been serving the traveling public with friendly accommodations since 1945. The current owners purchased from its founders in 1990. They made physical improvements to the house to increase energy efficiency, guest comfort and safety. Renovations have continued as technology becomes available in the 'green' market and in response to their guests' comments
Place all lights on timers and upgrade current light bulbs to more energy efficient bulbs
Install low-flow faucet aerators on lavatory and kitchen sinks
Work with Save That Stuff to establish best waste management practices
